Birthday Guide
Small Birthday Parties at a Private Taipei Bar
Birthdays under ten guests are the hardest to place — regular restaurants feel flat, big bars feel loud. A private cocktail room hits the sweet spot: refined atmosphere, a self-contained space you can photograph and sing in without bothering anyone else.
Private room vs restaurant
Restaurants come with hard time limits. A private bar room lets you carry the evening from dinner into late-night conversation, cut the cake, open gifts and play music without disturbing other guests.
Every 1884 Taipei room is fully enclosed. You can bring your own cake (a small cakeage fee applies) and we'll refrigerate it in advance. Music and lighting adapt to the mood you want.
Which room fits your group
2–4 guests: boutique or onsen suite — intimate and refined.
5–10 guests: skyline or modern — roomy, with a photogenic backdrop.
10–18 guests: modern or 6D immersion — great for group photos and projected birthday visuals.
Surprises we can arrange
House-side: champagne pour, candles on the cake, birthday BGM cue, a card. For balloons, florals or cake-ordering, please give us at least three days.
Our bartenders can build a custom cocktail or a matched non-alcoholic drink for the birthday guest — just share their palate at booking.
